HOT HEAD!

Oregon State running back LeGarrette Blount definitely felt some type of way about what ole' boy said, hence the mean right hook to the Boise State player's jaw! Even though it was very much out of character and of poor sportsmanship, I must say that was a powerful punch and he caught dude at the right angle, made his knees buckle!

And not only did 'Hot Head Blount' swing on that player, he was trying to swing on his teammates and some fans in the stands...that's when he took it too far!

As a result of his actions, Blount was suspended for all remaining games and because the 'smart guy' is a senior; his college football playing days are over! However, he will remain on scholarship and is still allowed to practice with the team.

Not to add fuel to the fire, but this is Blount's second time being suspended from the team.
In February, 'Hot Head Blount' was suspended indefinitely from the team for "failure to fulfill team obligations." He was reinstated before spring practice.

We have to do better!! I can understand that he was upset but that punch definitely was not the answer and it will unfortunately mar his legacy.

As African-Americans we must realize that when we do something of that statue it reflects on our race as a whole!

Blount, a 6'2, 240-pound transfer from East Mississippi CC, rushed for 1,002 yards and a school-record 17 touchdowns last season.
With that being said, I hope LeGarette can bounce back from this, because he is actually a real decent football player!
